about us

“It is truly our belief that no publication on the Islands is a stronger supporter of the fine art community than Art & Culture on Maui. We feel a great sense of pride in representing Maui’s thriving and diverse art community, offering both visitors and residents the inside scoop on Maui’s creative scene. We consider ourselves a vital link between local artists and their patrons and that’s why it is so exciting to introduce you to our latest issue of Art & Culture on Maui.

in 2009, Art & Culture on Maui expands to include in-depth editorials on new galleries, artists, and art projects; as well as the addition of private studios in our artist and gallery directory. This gives the talented, less established up-and-coming artists the opportunity to enjoy the same type of exposure as the heavy hitters on the local art scene. This also means that readers of Art & Culture on Maui will have access to the entire diverse spectrum of art on Maui from Front Street in Lahaina to private studios in culturally rich communities such as Hana, Paia, Makawao, Haiku, and Kula.

We all know what an amazing place Maui is, and everyone from connoisseurs to casual tourists around the world identify it as a world-class arts and culture mecca. I’m confident that after you have the opportunity to browse our fresh new issue of Art & Culture on Maui Magazine, you will be reminded once again of what a special and unique place Maui is to the fine art community.”
